You have yet to point out where the receiver had control
Which is the most important part of a catch vs no catch argument. What happened on the ground isn't that relevant (though a ball in control would not fall flat on the ground).
But again, if you want to make an argument for a catch, you have to be able point to a point in time where the receiver has control. If the ball is moving around in and on his arms, he does not have control
