Yeah, Boston area has the wonderful combo of traffic and high property prices! It will be a big adjustment moving from the Midwest.

A little more information: The hours will be somewhat flexible, so that will help some. The company is just off 2 before the Alewife terminal, so good to know that it will get backed-up as I get closer. Some of my potential coworkers live in the Acton area and take 2. It was mentioned that it was good to learn the side roads, probably for that reason. I may also be able to occasionally work from home.

I would love the simplicity of walking or biking, but not at the expense of being able to be away from all of the bustle when not at work.

@ME Hokie 07, thanks for the email offer. I may take you up on it as things move forward.
