...salary is $4.8 million. I'm a huge supporter of capitalism--I'm an obnoxious, even arrogant, capitalist--but this is not capitalism. College athletics is an abuse of the non-profit, tax-exempt system. The whole thing needs to end.

"But, but, the athletics departments don't make any money!" Of course they don't turn a profit. When you spend every penny of revenue on gold-plated athletic facilities and 7-figure salaries then your entity is not expected to turn a profit.
