Expedition Unknown is a great show.


The host, Josh Gates, is a really funny guy and has been part of some very entertaining programming. He previously had a show called Destination Truth on the SyFy channel. It was similar to Expedition Unknown, though it focused mainly on researching cryptozoological creatures and paranormal happenings, whereas Expedition Unknown frequently delves into more conventional history, such as Egyptian mummies and Nazi technology. I definitely recommend checking it out. I feel like Josh Gates approaches most topics with a healthy balance of skepticism, open-mindedness, and humor. I have never seen a show he hosted that I didn't enjoy.
