My favorite AFL team was Kansas City . . . loved Hank Stram . .


and Fred "the hammer" Williamson. He was the prototype of physical CB and really was the first bump-and-run cover guy. Of course, others adopted his style which has been, essentially, legislated out of today's game entirely. By protections for the 'defenseless' receiver and no contact after 5 yards.
