gashing Clemson with 5-10 yards per carry in the first quarter. Seemed like they panicked when Clemson got two quick scores. Probably a completely different type of game if they stick with it. They got gimmicky and pass happy which is very unusual for a Saban team. Perhaps a bit infatuated with his QB instead playing it straight up and letting his running backs and offensive line assert their will with the periodic play action mixed in. Very un-Saban like evening but have to give Clemson a lot of credit for establishing the tone early.
