Someone at BBT is obligated and able to fix this. The obvious

problem is tracking down that person.

Start in the branch and ask to speak to the manager's Regional Manager. You will get this fixed.

In the mean time, is it possible the paid loan still shows up on your credit report? I think the loan # would be included if it is.
