There is no reason to get person and call me nuts for making assumptions,


which happen to be incorrect, about what I think regarding Nix's ability. For the record, I am not saying that Nix is better or worse than Gray. For the record, I think 7 months is not enough time to judge an assistant coach. You may disagree and that is your opinion, but even you have to recognize that Nix didn't join the staff until June. How many coaches join a staff so close to the start of the regular season and have "success" that first year? It is worth noting that Torrian Gray joined the Florida Gators in February 2016 and the Washington Redskins in February 2017.

Most assistant coaches join a staff prior to the start of Spring Practice. It is worth noting an entire season including the bowl game is about as much time as when an assistant coach is typically hired and the start of fall practice. Maybe even less if the assistant coach is hired in January or February.
