The answer to that is an unequivocal NO.


A good mentor can only encourage one to . . . behave, fall in line, obey the rules, etc.

It is up to the MENTEE to take corrective action. He did not.

EDIT: Actually, the answer is yes. They can help but ultimately the decision is up to Hill.
