a liability for the program? I think it is a relevant question because I think a majority of people concluded that Beamer stayed too long at VT. I realize he decision to stay was influenced by Weaver's decision to remain AD. However, I think people may be realizing the negative impact of Beamer's decision.

Now I am not suggesting that VT should run Foster out of town after having a bad season. At the same time can the program afford to allow Foster to make a similar mistake as Beamer? If not, then where is that point where VT may have to take action for the good of the program?
