He claims to take responsibility for his actions but...
he also claims that his actions weren't wrong just misunderstood. "I need to better channel my desire to win" is an excuse and a way to blame others perceptions rather than his actions.
Plus he states that his dismissal was a pure surprise and out of no-where. He was some kind of suspended earlier, so that's a little bit of a stretch and makes me question how much he is really taking ownership and how much he's trying to say the right things.
It read more like a PR repair effort than a true admission that he did wrong and wants to change.
