Inexperience is our problem... so is talent.
Clemson has more talented T-Fr and T-So who don't have to do everything perfect, because they have upper-class players around to support them. The Reggie Floyd effect. Reggie was regarded as a good player last year, but this year he was constantly out of position. The upperclass players made him look good last year. Clemson has the super-senior Renfrow, Senior TEs, and upper-class OL who could pick up the T-Fr and T-So's when they had mental errors.
This holds true for their defense, and for Alabama as well. There is a big difference when you have experience all around (likely 4/5* talents ), and then a few 4/5* true freshmen in the starting lineup; compared to us having T-Fr and T-So 3/4* playing alongside even less talented upperclassmen.... or in our case barely any upperclassmen.
With that being said, our coaches have a lot of work to do over the next few years.
