entire bridal party except the groom, and the in-laws went on Weight Watchers with one year to go, no excuses.
(All you have to do is gain 2 lousy pounds per year and 20 years later.) So I joined in. I lost 35 pounds in 10 weeks, not drinking much, occasional half-glass but mostly sipping for my next recipe and I really don't miss it. Tons more energy. I put some fun into it and didn't tell Crazy Guy, wanted him to notice. He did at minus 7 pounds but I didn't tell him what I was doing. Two weeks after that, I told him that he's been thinking he's eating gourmet food but I was making WW stews from zero point foods in the Instant Pot. He looked at me wide-eyed and said he thought his pants were getting loose. He ran upstairs and he had lost 10 pounds, just eating! When he came down, he said, "You know, I let my stomach out and it's not so bad!" LOL!
My sister has lost 25, her husband, 40, one of my brothers, 72!!! We are going to do the grand reveal at the wedding, already have my dress. I am at my goal.
The App is great, has major restaurant food, but I didn't lose until I went to meetings. I think there's something magic in the air. Our Penn State club meets at BWW to watch games. We walked in and everyone had 2,000 calories on their plates. On the app, I put together a tasty zero point meal. By the end of the game, everyone hated me! (I can send anyone a link for a free month with an email address, and start when you want.) It's basically low carb, low fat, low sugar, trains you to eat healty. The App can scan foods in the grocery store, too. Ultimately, you can eat anything, but must count daily points. I've occasionally gone over, but there are 200 zero point foods, you can search online for them, but I mostly stay under.
(Ladies will know these sizes:) I went from a tight size 14 jean where I drew the line, to a 6 skinny leg and I'm rockin it!
PSA, don't ever have a Bloomin Onion. One portion is 3 days worth of food points! [Post edited by TechMomof2 at 01/08/2019 11:39AM]
