If Frank recognized the mistake several years earlier in hiring a certain O-line coach. That guy stayed at least 3 years too long. The O-line coach needs to be on the same page with his O-coordinator. The blocking schemes need to match the offense we're running.

Those two changes might have made VT a "top-10" fixture in college football. They definitely wouldn't have dragged us down from 10 win seasons.
