The skiing all around Banff is incredible. Lift tickets are much cheaper than US resorts, and that's in Canadian dollars. That area hosted all the Alpine skiing events during the Calgary Olympic Games. If you're not a skiier, the scenery and wildlife ought to keep you entertained. And the town of Banff is a really cool town. And the exchange rate makes most things a real bargain (or at least it did when I was there).
