It may seem out of touch to throw out the old “At least everybody is okay” line, but that really is the saving grace. Stuff is stuff at the end of the day. Lives are what is most important.

I have no doubt that people who have rebuilt once can rebuild again, whether on the same spot or elsewhere. People are resilient. All you can really hope for is that the family and community works together to move forward. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
