During CCG Weekend WUSA (CBS affiliate) was blacked out

on DishNetwork over a contract dispute. What I found interesting is that DishNetwork somehow managed to air the SEC CCG in its entirety and then blacked out the channel again until the dispute had been resolved. I am not sure how DishNetwork was about to do that, but I wonder if Verizon is banking on doing something similar for certain sporting events if the dispute isn't resolved quickly.
