It's about how terrible ECU handled this. They were not the party in charge of cancelling. They were told a decision would be made Wednesday. They went behind the back of our AD and sent the team to Florida without informing our AD directly. It appears they relied on email to make decisions and not phone calls to work this out.

ECU messed up. These are the consequences. I don't have the language of the original contract, so we can debate legality all day, but ECU is at fault for the initial bad communication (or lack thereof)
