especially this year. The fact is VT can compete with the likes of Clemson except in depth. If you take the folks that left VT early & they played the last 2 years it very easily could have been very different. That is exactly why VT is recruiting key positions with JUCOs to provide the depth needed.

The VT fans can't have it both ways. We want 4+ years from 4 & 5 star players. It doesn't seem to happen at VT. They either leave early for the pros or transfer. So basically there isn't a difference between VT getting JUCOs & 4&5 Stars from a retention point of view.
