if you're good. NFL is far better at talent eval than college recruiters. Thing is , the really good , gonna make it no matter where they play types mostly choose to opt for the "bells and whistles" as part of the decision process. Being 18ish , I can't really blame them for wanting the most fringe benefits/amenities they can get out of their time in school. Slimy/shady recruiting tactics aside , the end results speak volumes...playoff hunt every year , players to the pros, top tier facilities/amenities. Don't need to do much negative recruiting when all those things are on the table.
