Yeah, I won't be putting another Trane/American Standard into my house unless their price comes back in line with every other American HVAC company's products. From my experience, they just aren't any better than the competition, but they sure charge a premium price on the initial product, as well as for their replacement components. They have at least a 30% markup over non-Trane branded components.
