at the kid you wish, however, the fact remains that he was a top recruit at a position of need who never even got out of the starting gate which is a problem for the program and for the kid. I wish the kid could have stuck it out as quitting on anything the first time more often than not establishes a pattern. I also realize the coaching staff has to set the standards as they deem best for the program. My opinion is the real truth of the situation is probably somewhere in the middle as opposed to the VT theory posted on these boards or the Goode defenders who responded with the other side. You never like to see a program expend resources, secure a commitment and have it blow up so quickly. Hopefully the VT staff learns from the situation to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
