Like us, they have had trouble getting into a conference "where they belong", and like us, they have been disrespected for years by some/all of the Carolina schools. Regardless of their national reputation, they have tended to play us tough, which I think prepares us well for other challenging games.

And I love their fans. I know many ECU grads, and feel they are kindred spirits in many ways. Unlike some other places, most of our fans report having good experiences attending games in Greenville.

The game situation was handled poorly on their side this year, but I still respect their team and fans, and hope our relationship is not permanently severed.
