Did ECU really say "you'll have to sue us to get the appearance $ back?"
They chose to play NCSU instead of fulfilling their contractual agreement to play @ VT, even a millisecond of hesitation in repaying the $$ we gave them to come to play @ VT makes them a bad business partner. Its fun to go play down there and they are a decent opponent in Lane, I've got no beef with ECU as a school, but I think Whit needs to drop them and work with people who are ethical business partners. I think that story will make its to other P5 ADs and ECU will have a tough time getting home/homes on favorable terms. There are too many ethical programs that will do business the right way, why do business with someone who basically tries to double-dip on payments and steal hundreds of thousands of dollars?
