Over the years, I have grown tired of our fans who said we have nothing to gain from the series with ECU (which actually might be true) but seemed to only be saying that because they were afraid of losing to them, a program which in their eyes was inferior. While I can't completely dismiss their argument, what didn't set right with me is, if we are/were so high and mighty why didn't we just beat them each year and squash that "if we lose" side of that argument? It's time probably to just get over it and let our AD do his job. He's going to make it right.

As for the link in the above post, thanks for that. Fans are fans and not all of them suffer terminal cases of Homerism - except maybe Alabama fans.
