While I agree with you that it doesn't make sense to add UCF

for the reasons you stated, a question did pop into my mind that I am having trouble coming up with a satisfactory answer. So I am going to through the question out to see what others think. Given that FL is 1 of the "Big 3" states in recruiting and the Southeast Region is recruiting hotbed for the ACC, how much would teams benefit from having the opportunity to play at least 2 FL schools every year in just about every sport? If the ACC did decide to add UCF, then I would think USF would be the 16th member. If the ACC decides to keep the permanent divisions, then it should mean that both divisions would have 2 FL schools so a team can play 1 at home and 1 away every year. If the ACC decided to go with the rotating pod/quad division, then the 4 pods/quads could look like this:

Quad A: FSU, UVA, UNC, BC
Quad B: Miami, VT, Duke, Syracuse,
Quad C: UCF, Clemson, NC State, Pitt
Quad D: USF, GT, Wake, L'ville

Pairings would be as such:
Quad A:Quad B
Quad C:Quad D
