As VTSnake said, what are the odds of Tannehill throwing the ball 70-75 yards? The line was 69 yards, so let's say 75 yards (under duress & scrambling).

Given the most likely play (pass for 10-20 yards, and then Happy Fun Time Lateral Circus), absolutely no reason for Gronk to be on the field.

Unless you (and Belichick) truly believe Gronk is one of New England's 11 best open-field tacklers. As we saw on Sunday afternoon, he isn't.
