The North Atlantic.


When my Dad first entered WWII he was put on a WWI destroyer in the North Atlantic in the winter. He said it was miserable and they were always cold (this story immediately came to mind when I saw the posted photo). Later, he was then put on new destroyer DD-663 the Heywood L Roberts (photo) for the Pacific war.
