Looks like I did one out of nine when I was a kid.
I did dress warm. Never understood the kids who went to play in the snow wearing jeans and sneakers.
All the others aren't good for much more than a laugh.
I'm reminded of an old ST-TNG episode where Picard was ill and Q gave him the option to change his past so that he didn't pick a bar fight as a teenager that led to him having a heart implant. With the wisdom of ages under his belt, he then re-lived his life never taking a risk. And proceeded to live the most predictable, boring, and mediocre life imaginable.
Learning how to manage risk is one of the key skills we are supposed to learn as a kid. The hard way. But if parents remove all the risk from your life, how are you supposed to learn how to manage it?
