ND wouldn't join a conference even if they were mediocre...

but making it to the CFP this year just proved there is no motivation for them to do so. So it will be 4 to 5 P5 conferences + 1 indy. At least it will be that way throughout my lifetime.

On a side note, it humors me when I hear fans or alumni of an ACC school claim ND as one of "us" in football; essentially saying "we" have 2 teams in the CFP.
