Good luck to you! Just concentrate on doing the

best job you can in the new gig, instead of thinking about the old gig.

Also, make a point of getting out and getting involved in activities outside of work. That way you'll make more friends. You'll always miss your old friends, but getting out and doing things with new friends will make the move to a new town easier.
