We proved you can make the playoffs as an independent. Unless a massive shift comes we're good.I believe you'll likely see expansion not a contraction of access to the playoff. Champs only is a huge Longshot because out of conference games will suffer, and ESpn will never sign up for that. why schedule quality out-of-conference games if all you have to do is win your conference to make the playoff? Making out of conference games glorified exhibition games does not seem like a profitable avenue to take.
