From what I've been told...


Tech wasn't the perfect fit that she thought it would be (athletically and socially). Some say that she felt pressure to attend Tech because both her parents were Hokies and her brother was a walk-on on the football team. Kelly's second choice was JMU and she ended up going there and seems very happy with her decision. She did come into fall practice out of shape and that held her progress back for most of the season, but basketball was just a part of her decision to transfer.
