GT doesn't sponsor enough sports to do well with Director's Cup.


When you only sponsor 17 sports like GT does, it's hard to compete for a Cup that takes your best 10 men's and best 10 women's. They don't even have 10 of either.

That said, GT can do better than it is with what they have. They played in the NCAA men's basketball championship game about 12 years ago. They are far from that now. Same with Golf.

Pitt is improving in Olympic Sports. I see it in baseball, soccer, etc. They'll move up.
