I know this topic is posted often, but I need some recommendations with a few specific criteria. My wife has been watching a ton of TV shows lately, while I usually read. I'd like to find some shows we can watch together, but our tastes are a bit divergent. To accommodate her, I need shows that:

- are not sci-fi or fantasy (no GoT)
- don't have too much explicit gore, violence or drug use (no Breaking Bad or Walking Dead, not sure about The Wire)

Over the years we've watched and enjoyed Mad Men, Six Feet Under, 24, Lost, Bloodlines, Weeds, The Blacklist, Arrested Development (original), The West Wing, and others. She's watched many others, though most would cause revocation of my man card if I watched with her.

Thoughts on House of Cards, Homeland, The Americans, Downton Abbey, Shameless, Outlander, Entourage, Silicon Valley, Suits, The Crown, Scandal, Stranger Things? Others?

Netflix or Amazon preferred.
