I think the key is finding a diet you can maintain for the long run


Recommend doing what I didn't, which is to continue to monitor your diet after you reach your "target" weight. That way if you start heading up again, you can go back to a stricter diet until you get back to where you want to be.

I don't think I stepped onto a scale until after I had not only gone up in pants waist size, but those larger pants started getting tight. I stopped that trend, but need to start going back down again. Maybe after the first of the year...perhaps start on January 2nd? :)
