One of the (many) reasons most media members hate him is because...


...he won't get sucked into their game of trying to get him to say something the way they want him to say it so they can run with a story. Most politicians tip toe the line of being careful with what they say even when they don't like a question they are asked, and they can get led into saying something that can be used "against" them by the media (happens on both sides of the aisle - just look at all the clickbait headlines these days). Trump just doesn't give a crap and will say whatever comes into his mind, with no filter whatsoever. I'm not saying that's how I'd prefer the POTUS conduct himself, but I have to say...it does make me laugh watching media members lose their minds because Trump won't cooperate.
