The first ones were, but I believe Honda eventually started building...


...their own from the ground up.

Actually Isuzu has built some pretty tough trucks, and the initial Passports were decent vehicles. Honda just didn't initially have the capability to bring it to market, and/or they didn't know if it would sell, so they partnered with Isuzu for the first Passports.
