The son of the best ever at VT actually wanted to play at VT...

...the other didn't.

At the time (and still to this day), I was in the "give Curry a scholarship, dang it" camp, but Seth thought other players were better.

Guess the primary reason I was in that camp is because I was blown away watching Dell play ball, even though I hadn't seen his kids on the court. Thought if his son was half as good as Dell, they would be better than almost anyone else Seth could recruit to VT. This was solely based on my observation of Dell's play, and turned out to be "spot on" accurate. (I know, even a blind hog can find an acorn...lol)

It was also the reason I fully support Bruce Smith's son be given a scholarship to play football at VT. You never know if the son will equal his father's play on the field, but when the father is one of the best ever, it's definitely worth a shot.
