That bring back memories


was a guy on hall sophomore year that I guess was the early 80's version of an internet stalker.

He'd look up attractive females in the freshman directory that they printed and then lookup phone numbers either in white pages or thru directory assistance.

He'd call and say he was doing a psychology class experiment and ask that same questionRedford or Newmanthen try and continue the conversation - amazing the number of times he actually got someone to meet him somewhere.

Of course no caller ID, no call back features, etc.
