Maryland owes way too much money to the B1G now to consider.

The Big Ten gave Maryland up front travel money that basically paid Maryland's ACC exit fee. Maryland has also been taking loans from the Big Ten as advances for future earnings, so they have to pay back those loans over a number of years in the future when they get to full share. So Maryland is stuck in the Big Ten.

The ACC will need to look elsewhere. I'm not sure the ACC would take them back anyway.
