Clemson was rated lower than us RPI-wise but higher in the coaches poll. Clemson isn't as good this season as they were the past two but are still ahead of us. I was hoping that we could pass Clemson and NC State in the standings this season - meaning we made progress in the ACC). A road win vs. Louisville may get us in but I'm not as confident now as I was this morning. I agree with squarerootofone that we just aren't tournament worthy. If we would've beaten both Bama and UGA on the road and won today, we would be in. Honestly, our offense just isn't NCAA tournament quality. Senior days lead to too much emotion (which is natural since we are only human) but the emotion (which sometimes mentally drains a team) showed, especially with Clemson's 2 first half goals. Chugger's teams don't do well if they trail early. We need to score first and that has been a problem vs. the better ACC teams. I HOPE that we can win at Louisville and cross our fingers that things work out for us on selection day. If we aren't chosen, it's very understandable. If we're selected, we'll be somewhat lucky and hopefully make the best of it.
