No 8 team playoff at all

They got consensus now, The only reason they didn't go for just conference winners was ACC was the vote because they were guaranteed the same amount if or if not their champion gets into the 4 team playoff.

Simply conferences can go their own way, and college football is more segmented.

Botttomline, the 4 model is safe by all who counts the votes NOT fans, not press not media. So, if they don't like it they can go to something else and what is something else. Same folks don't like NFL, then they go to NCAA football and they don't like it so what next soccer?????

or maybe they just quick on football. my bet NOT
