Unlikely , but the hidden beauty of a Playoff with only one P5 conference

This scenario is highly unlikely: 2 SEC schools , ND ,and UCF as your playoff teams (likely Clemson and a few others would need 2 losses). But imagine four power conferences being left out and the corresponding added pressure to get to an 8 team playoff with auto bids for the P5. For that reason I'll root for this to happen.

The added side-benefit when this finally get to 8 teams (and i think it will have 6 spots pre-determined- the 6th being the highest ranked non P5 provided they are ranked somewhere in the top 15 or so ) is that it will put ND in a position of having to be one of the top 2 at larges every year- an "unfair" disadvantage that could push them closer to a conference affiliation.
