Not enjoying college FB this year. I enjoying watching our Hokies, but not

college football in general. its an off week, and Im really trying to enjoy another team/game.

I feel a little dirty "feeding the pig" that is college football. Every single entity involved in the enterprise that Is college football is making crazy money; EXCEPT the talent. I agree that they get an "education" but lets be real. They are getting the "eduction" to keep them eligible by rules that are made up by the Hypocritical JOKE of an organization that is the NCAA rackett. I mean think about it, they get their panties in a bunch because some kid got a signature from a fan and sold it for some chump change. Yet a Kid DIES, Yes DIES, due to what they are doing for the college football team, and the NCAA has nothing to F'in say?!!! This kid in UMD is not the first, and won't be the last. If a kids dies in a football program, while doing workouts, that should be a AUTOMATIC death penalty punishment for at least 5 years. AUTOMATIC........!

I agree that most of these kids come from rough backgrounds, and this is their way out; anD in fairness many do get out and make a decent life for themselves. But at what cost? A battered body for an organization that might have made 100's of millions off of the collective performance on the field for about 2-4 years? And the player MIGHT get a decent job out of it? Maybe 30-60k a year starting pay, if they are lucky?

Let face it, CFB is NOT amateur any more. AMATUER stadiums dont seat 60k-100k people, and amateur facilities dont have budgets of 500M-$1B.

These kids NEED to be paid; I dont admit to have a solution to how much and for whom, but right now, this is FREE LABOR for these schools to make billions off of.

Rant over, and this is why I am really conflicted about CFB, more so than before.
