He actually left out the "Black Book"
I think it still exists. Some years back, car dealers didn't like the KBB values and so created their own guide. You used their "Black Book" to see the value of your trade in. And the Black Book was more expensive than the Blue Book.
What about Edmunds? Consumer Reports? They both price used cars. There are other sources besides KBB.
And I've always made fun of JD Power. Any award based on "initial quality" is idiotic.
