If we can beat Clemson and/or Louisville we likely get in the tournament


despite our mediocre offense. The Georgetown tie and UVA win are positive results that we haven't had in the past 2 seasons. I noticed that when we score first, our chances of victory greatly increase. Tonight was somewhat odd in that our offense made the most of our 5 shots with the 2 shots on goal resulting in goals. I think our defense has been NCAA caliber the past 3 seasons. I wish I could say the same for our offense. I agree that Mandy has kept us alive as far as any NCAA tournament chances. The good thing is, when Mandy graduates, we'll have another 4-5 star GK taking her place. We also have to remember that we have a young team, maybe the youngest in the ACC. I'd like to see us defeat Clemson since they (along with NC State) have taken our spot in ACC standings the past few years. We need to reclaim our place in the ACC.
