With JJ you do get expected outcomes and they are disproportionately bad...

... Willis shortcomings can be coached up. You can't coach up arm strength and speed. Willis simply makes plays that JJ will never be able to make because he has inferior physical tools compared to Willis. Let Willis finish the season. Let him go through Spring ball and I bet his is a better player next season-much better. Willis sits in that film room every Monday and has every play picked apart and his mistakes are clearly pointed out to him and the coaches are letting him know exactly what he is doing wrong. They will work with him. Throwing into triple coverage can be changed. He can be taught to throw the ball away when he can't escape the pressure. He can be taught that when the pocket collapses ball security and taking the sack is what HE has to do. He will have all summer to study his film and watch the mistakes. Coaches can't do anything about JJ having a huge butt (I don't car how many Jane Fonda workouts he does) the guy will always have a big booty with big thunder thighs. The coaches can't make or affect his speed-he is slow and will always be. The coaches can't make him have a strong arm he has a very average arm. His mechanics can be corrected. His overthrowing and letting balls sail can probably be corrected. I don't think the coaches can affect the fact that Ryan Willis has superior physical talent as a QB over JJ. The coaches can change the decision making of WIlis which believe will happen. BTW is Patterson is so good why doesn't he come in next year and start?
