The only question that matters: Whose hand breaks the plane of the wall?

If the fielder goes beyond the wall, the fan has the right to that space. If the fan is reaching out beyond the wall into the field of play, then it is interference. It is close to impossible to tell from these angles whether the contact was on the fan side or the fielder side of the fence. Betts’s arm appears to angle over the fence ... but at the same time, the fan’s hands are outstretched.

I’d lean toward homer, mostly because the fan’s hands seem more stationary. They’re not reaching on impact, whereas the fielder is drifting and angling back.
