If the ACC champion was guaranteed a NYD6 bowl bid

in the event it doesn't qualify for the Playoffs (as the ACC's website suggests), then every source that displays the 2018-2019 bowl schedule should have an * besides the Peach Bowl and Fiesta Bowl. As an indication that the ACC is guaranteed a NYD6 bowl bid if it doesn't qualify for the Playoffs this year. Instead, all the sources I have seen (up to about 10 or so as of today), all show the same thing.

Dec. 29 — Peach Bowl: At-large vs. At-large, ESPN, noon
Jan. 1 — Fiesta Bowl: At-large vs. At-large, ESPN, 1 p.m.

It is possible the ACC's website is correct and every other source out there is incorrect. However, it could also be that the ACC is making certain assumptions about the Committee's behavior (i.e. a P5 champion ranked in the Top 15 will get an "at-large" bid to a NYD6 bowl game) or maybe even a marketing ploy by the ACC. Otherwise, then why isn't there another reliable source out there to support the ACC's claim? Or that the other reliable sources don't have any sort of * next to either bowl game to indicate that the ACC Champion is guaranteed a NYD6 bowl bid in the event they are not selected for the Playoff?

What could be interesting to see play out is if a P5 champion is ranked outside the Top 15 in the final Committee Poll and that champion's conference doesn't have an automatic tie in to a NYD6 bowl game that season (like what the ACC has this season for discussion purposes). Would the Committee still select that Champion for a NYD6 bowl bid or not?
